To mark the silver jubilee of the establishment of Sriram Educational Trust, the late Thiru.M.E.Devarajan, Founder Chairman, envisaged a programme in 2007 to establish new educational institutes viz., Arts & Science college for women, Polytechnic college and a Higher Secondary school, in its own extensive lands of about 108 grounds, situated at Vyasarpadi to cater to the needs of students desiring to pursue higher academic and professional courses of studies.

The board of trustees under the distinguished chairpersonship of Dr.V.Vasanthi Devi has taken upon itself the ardent task of fulfilling the noble vision of the late Thiru.M.E.Devarajan, and has drawn out extensive schemes of constructing new buildings. When his dream is realized it would incorporate all the ingredients of a model institution located in North Madras – a unique vision indeed! The proposed colleges will be affiliated to the University of Madras, and also approved by DOTE, UGC and AICTE, New Delhi.
